The country has seen a 3.6% decrease in demand since 2002, putting it at number 82 in the 2021 rankings. Brunei came just ahead of Lebanon in 2021 at $773,000, while Japan, South Korea and Singapore were numbers 2, 3, and 4 respectively. Lebanon's fishing equipment exports stood at $1,580 in 2018 – a massive 199.1% increase compared to 2017's $527. Since 2002, the country's supply has increased by 41.2% every year.
