Palestinian tobacco production is forecast to drop by 1.7% year-on-year on average, reaching 208.09 metric tons by 2026. This follows a downward trend since 1999, when production decreased by 1.9% year-on-year. In 2021, Palestine ranked 100th, while Samoa overtook them with 230 metric tons. India, Brazil and Zimbabwe took the top three spots in the ranking. Sales of Palestinian tobacco are projected to decrease by 4.9% year-on-year on average, reaching $34.89 million by 2026. This follows a downward trend since 2013, when sales fell by 1% year-on-year. Last year, Palestine was in 39th place, with Bulgaria ahead of them at $46.76 million. Indonesia, the Philippines and Poland made up the rest of the top four.
