Despite this steady increase, Macedonia ranked 25th globally in tobacco production in 2023. Vietnam surpassed Macedonia, producing 26,140 metric tons. Meanwhile, India, Brazil, and Zimbabwe secured the second, third, and fourth spots, respectively, in the global ranking for tobacco production.
