In 2021, Montenegro ranked 51st, behind Saudi Arabia which had sales of $2.1 million. Indonesia, the Philippines and Poland were the next three countries in the ranking. Meanwhile, Montenegrin tobacco production is expected to decrease to 186 metric tons by 2026, down from 216 metric tons in 2021. This marks an average decline of 2.5% year-on-year since 2011. In 2021, Montenegro ranked 103rd, behind Mauritius which had production of 216 metric tons. India, Brazil and Zimbabwe were the next three countries in the ranking.
