Hungary's data center revenue is projected to decline to approximately €408 million by 2028, down from €495 million in 2023. This represents an annual decrease of 3.1%, according to recent market forecasts. The Hungarian data center market had previously experienced modest growth, increasing by 1.4% year on year since 2013. Despite this past growth, the country has now slipped in the rankings. In 2023, Hungary ranked 19th in Europe for data center revenue. Romania edged out Hungary with revenue figures matching Hungary's €495 million. Leading the rankings were Sweden, Germany, and the United Kingdom, which secured the second, third, and fourth positions respectively.
