The number of Kenyan broadband subscribers is expected to reach nearly one million by 2026, according to a recent report. In 2021, the country was ranked 79th in the world with 700,310 subscriptions. This was a 39.5% increase from 2010. Slovenia was ahead of Kenya with the highest number of subscriptions. The United States, Japan and Brazil followed in the rankings, coming in second, third and fourth respectively. This growth is expected to continue at an average rate of 4.7% year on year, bringing the number of subscriptions to 929,060 by 2026.
