Belize is set to see a substantial rise in broadband subscribers over the coming five years. Subscriptions are forecast to reach 41,260 by 2026, up from 32,990 in 2021. This amounts to an average yearly growth of 3.6%. Since 2008, the demand for broadband subscriptions in Belize has been increasing year on year, at a rate of 12.4%. In 2021, Belize ranked 143rd in the world in terms of broadband subscriptions. Uganda came ahead in the rankings at 32,990 subscriptions, while the US, Japan and Brazil ranked second, third and fourth, respectively.
