Bulgarian broadband subscriptions are forecast to reach close to 2.7 million by 2026. In 2021, the country ranked 53rd in the world with 2.3 million subscriptions, just behind Ecuador. The US, Japan and Brazil were the top three countries in this ranking. Since 2009, demand for broadband in Bulgaria has grown by an average of 6.4% each year.
