The number of broadband subscribers in Laos is set to increase substantially by 2026. This year, the country had 80,990 subscriptions - an increase of 27.1% since 2008. Laos was ranked 125th in the world, while Mozambique was ahead with 81,000 subscriptions. The United States, Japan and Brazil occupied the top three spots. By 2026, subscription numbers in Laos are projected to reach 107,000 - a growth of 4.9% annually.
