French Polynesian broadband subscriptions are set to reach nearly 84,000 by 2026. In 2021, the country had 71,000 subscriptions, a jump of 5% since 2006. This puts them at 132nd in the world, overtaken by Botswana. The US, Japan and Brazil are the top three countries in the ranking.
