Cypriot broadcasting revenue is projected to decline over the next five years, dropping from €39 million in 2023 to approximately €32 million by 2028. This reflects an average annual decrease of 2.7%. The downward trend is not a new phenomenon for Cyprus. Since 2015, the market has been contracting at an average annual rate of 5.3%. In the current year, Cyprus ranks 25th in Europe for broadcasting revenue. Latvia has surpassed Cyprus, also reporting €39 million in revenue for 2023. Leading the rankings are the United Kingdom, Germany, and Spain, occupying the second, third, and fourth positions, respectively.
