Swiss hip replacement procedures are expected to rise to around 28,000 by 2026. This would mean an average 0.4% annual increase from 2021, when 27,000 surgeries took place. This is a bit lower than the rate of growth since 2007, which was 0.6%. In 2021, Switzerland was ranked 12th for hip replacements, with South Korea overtaking it at 27,000 surgeries. France, the UK and Italy were the next three countries in the ranking.
