Iceland is set to see an increase in hip replacement procedures over the next five years, with an estimated 880 surgeries taking place by 2026. There has been a steady growth of 0.7% year-on-year since 2016, and the country was in 31st place in 2021. Luxembourg overtook Iceland with 808 surgeries, while France, the United Kingdom and Italy followed in second, third and fourth place respectively.
