This growth represents an average annual increase of 1.9%. Since 2012, the country's demand for pipeline transport has been rising steadily, with an annual growth rate of 0.9%. In 2023, Kazakhstan ranked second globally in pipeline transport volume, trailing only China, which also reported a volume of 145,400 million tonne-kilometers. Following Kazakhstan in the global rankings were Poland and France, occupying the third and fourth positions, respectively.
