Since 2016, demand has fallen by 0.8% each year. Germany was the biggest contributor to this expenditure in 2021, with €215 billion. The United Kingdom, France and Italy followed, ranking 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively. Albania saw an increase of 5.3% year on year, while Greece fell by 3.3% year on year since 2016.
