Revenue from Panama's chemical manufacturing industry has dropped significantly compared to last year, according to a report released today. In 2021, 4.71 percent of the country's manufacturing value added came from chemicals, down from 12.74 percent in 2020. This marks a decrease of 63 percentage points from the previous year. Since 1968, the industry has experienced a decrease of 43.7 percentage points.
