Ecuador's import of printing inks is set to reach nearly $19 million by 2026, up an average of 1.5% a year since 1996. In 2021, the country was ranked 61st in the world, with Malta overtaking it with $17 million. France, the US and the Netherlands were ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively. Exports of printing inks from Ecuador dropped to $208,000 in 2018 from $284,350 in 2017 - a decrease of 27%. Since 1999, exports have declined by 43% year on year. Ecuador was ranked 76th in 2018, with Tanzania overtaking it with $208,000. The Netherlands, the US and Japan were ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively.
