The export of Irish printing inks is projected to drop by 0.7% a year on average over the next five years, reaching $47 million in 2026. This would be an 11.4% decrease from 1997 levels. The country was ranked 21st in 2021, with Malaysia coming in at number one with $47.9 million. The Netherlands, the United States and Japan followed at second, third, and fourth respectively. Meanwhile, the import of Irish printing inks is expected to fall by 1.4% annually on average over the same period, reaching $18 million in 2026. This would be a 2.8% decrease from 1997 levels. Ireland was ranked 57th in 2021, with Nigeria leading the pack at $19.4 million. France, the USA and the Netherlands occupied the second, third and fourth spots respectively.
