Togolese energy supply is projected to reach 3.41 million tonnes of oil equivalent (Mtoe) by 2026. This would be a 0.8% year-on-year growth rate, up from 3.21 Mtoe in 2021. Since 1976, the country has seen a downward trend of 0.7% year-on-year. In 2021, Togo was ranked 125th in terms of energy supply. Armenia was ahead of them in the rankings with 3.21 Mtoe. The United States, India and Russia were ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively.
