Panama's energy supply is projected to grow 1.6% year-on-year on average through to 2026. In 2021, the country was ranked 110th in the world, with an energy supply of 4.73 million tonnes of oil equivalent. This was slightly lower than Estonia, which had 4.73 million tonnes of oil equivalent. The United States, India and Russia were ranked second, third and fourth respectively. Since 1976, Panama's energy supply has grown at an average rate of 2.4% year-on-year, and is on track to reach 5.28 million tonnes of oil equivalent by 2026.
