Over the last 45 years, the Libyan supply has grown at an average rate of 2.2% per year. In 2021, Libya ranked 64th in terms of energy supply, behind Morocco with 20.21 million tonnes of oil equivalent. The United States, India and Russia were the top three countries in the ranking.
