Nepalese energy supply is set to reach 16 million tonnes of oil equivalent by 2026. This would be an increase of 1.5% year on year, according to data since 1976. In 2021, the country was in 80th place with 14.2 million tonnes of oil equivalent, overtaken by Guatemala. The United States, India and Russia came in 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively.
