This represents an average yearly growth of 3.5%. Since 2009, the country has seen an annual increase of 10.7%. In 2021, it was ranked 21st in the world, with Hungary just ahead at 5.26 terawatthours. The United Kingdom, Spain, and Italy came in second, third and fourth in the ranking, respectively.
