Wool exports from Bulgaria are expected to reach $216.6 million by 2026, a 2.5% increase from 2021’s $187 million. The country has seen an 8.8% year-on-year growth since 2001. Bulgaria ranked 15th in 2021, with Japan coming in at the top spot with $187 million. China, Italy and Germany followed in second, third and fourth respectively. Imports of wool to Bulgaria are predicted to reach $301.8 million by 2026, a 1.6% increase from the 2021 figure of $274 million. There has been a 4.6% year-on-year rise since 2001. The country ranked 10th in 2021, with the Czech Republic in the lead with $274 million. Italy, Germany and the United Kingdom followed in second, third and fourth respectively.
