As of 2023, Egypt holds the 41st position in global rankings for air passenger traffic. Belgium slightly edged out Egypt with the same number of passengers, roughly 14 million. The top spots in the ranking are dominated by China, India, and Ireland, which hold the second, third, and fourth positions, respectively.
