Maltese Metal Products Sales Soar to Over €117 Million in 2020 VALLETTA - Sales of metal products in Malta reached approximately €117 million in 2020, up from €113 million in 2019. This marks a significant growth in the sector over a one-year period. Looking ahead, the import of Maltese metal products is projected to climb to nearly $16 million by 2028, rising from around $15 million in 2023. This represents a steady annual growth rate of 1.2% since 1999, during which demand has remained stable. On the export front, Maltese metal products are expected to hit close to $6.6 million by 2028, up from about $5.7 million in 2023. This indicates an average annual growth rate of 2.2% since 1999, despite a historical yearly decline of 0.6% in supply.
