Mongolia's nickel imports are projected to surge to approximately $492,000 by 2028, up from around $413,000 in 2023. This marks an average annual growth rate of 2.7%. Despite the recent uptick, the country's demand for nickel has seen a decline of 1.3% annually since 2001. On the export front, Mongolia's nickel exports plummeted to $1,700 in 2018, down sharply from $5,600 in 2017. This represents a staggering 70% decrease in just one year.
