Ghana's nickel exports fell by a dramatic 82.6% in 2018, compared to the previous year. This is a 67.9% decrease since 2010. The country dropped to 107th in the ranking of global nickel exporters, behind Myanmar at $259. The US, Russia and Germany were the top three exporters. Ghanaian imports of nickel jumped by 133.8% in 2018, in comparison to 2017. This marks a 10.7% increase since 2001. The country came in 69th, behind Bahrain at $2.2 million. The US, Japan and Norway were the top three importers.
