Belgium is set to see a decline in nickel exports and imports between 2021 and 2026. Exports of nickel from Belgium are projected to drop by 1.5% annually to reach $286 million by 2026. This is down from $315 million in 2021. The country has seen a 1.5% annual increase in supply since 2004, placing it at 21st in 2021, behind Italy at $315 million. The United States, Russia, and Germany ranked second, third, and fourth, respectively. Imports of nickel to Belgium are expected to fall by an average of 0.8% each year to reach $492 million by 2026. This is down from $520 million in 2021. The country has seen a 4.7% year-on-year increase in demand since 2004, placing it at 14th in 2021, behind Austria at $520 million. The United States, Japan, and Norway ranked second, third, and fourth, respectively.
