Food production in Zimbabwe is set to reach nearly $2.7 billion by 2026, according to a recent report. This is a slight decrease from the current level of $2.8 billion, a 0.5% year-on-year average rate of decline. Since 1966, food supply in the country has declined by an average of 0.1% per year. In 2021, Zimbabwe was ranked 91st in the world, behind Burkina Faso at $2.8 billion. India, the US and Brazil were second, third and fourth respectively.
