Malaysia is set to reach $27.1 billion in food production by 2026, according to a recent report. This number is a 1.2% year-on-year growth from $25.2 billion in 2021. Since 1966, Malaysia's food supply has grown at an average rate of 3% year-on-year. This puts it in 27th place in global rankings, narrowly being overtaken by Algeria which had $25.2 billion in production. India, the US, and Brazil rank second, third, and fourth respectively.
