This was down 4% from 2017. Nicaragua was the top consumer, followed by the United States, Brazil, and Germany in second, third, and fourth place, respectively. Moldova's beer production is expected to decline by 0.4% each year, according to the report. In 2021, the country was the 106th largest producer with 74,290 metric tons. This was down 1.4% from 1997. Papua New Guinea was the top producer, followed by the United States, Brazil, and Mexico in second, third, and fourth place, respectively.
