Kenya's natural rubber exports and imports both increased in 2018 compared to the year before. Exports rose by 3.3% to approximately $110,000, while imports increased by 46.7% to around $2 million. From 1997 to 2018, exports rose by 9.2%, while imports decreased by 20.6%. In 2018, Kenya was the 63rd largest exporter and the 60th largest importer. Austria topped the export rankings, while Ukraine topped the import rankings. Indonesia, Ivory Coast, Malaysia, the United States, and Japan rounded out the rest of the top four in both rankings.
