Global natural rubber exports are forecast to reach almost $5 billion by 2026, down 13% from 2021's $11 billion. Supply has decreased 0.9% annually since 2016. Thailand was the top exporter in 2021 at $4.63 billion, followed by Indonesia, Ivory Coast and Malaysia. Nicaragua saw the largest increase, 347%, while Latvia saw the largest decrease, 67%, since 2016. Global natural rubber imports are expected to total $7.3 billion by 2026, an 8.8% decrease from 2021's $12.7 billion. Demand has grown 1% annually since 2016. China was the top importer in 2021 at $3.82 billion, followed by the United States, Malaysia and Japan. Andorra saw the largest increase, 114%, while Fiji saw the largest decrease, 72.7%, since 2016.
