UK natural rubber exports are forecast to decrease by 2.8% year-on-year to reach around $10.6 million by 2026. This follows a decrease of 2.9% year-on-year since 1998. In 2021, the UK ranked 23rd, behind Romania with $12.6 million. Indonesia, Ivory Coast and Malaysia were ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively. Meanwhile, British imports of natural rubber dropped 25.6% year-on-year to $19.3 million in 2021, from $26 million in 2020. Since 1998, demand has decreased by 23.4% year-on-year. The UK ranked 39th in 2021, behind Denmark with $19.3 million. The US, Malaysia and Japan were ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively.
