Thailand's tungsten imports are set to hit $23.4 million by 2026, an increase of 2.8% a year from $19.8 million in 2021. Since 1993, the country's demand for tungsten has grown an average of 13.9% a year. In 2021, Thailand was the 15th largest importer of tungsten, with Singapore outranking it at $19.8 million. Germany, Japan, and Austria were the second, third and fourth largest importers respectively. Meanwhile, Thai tungsten exports are expected to reach $16.8 million by 2026, a rise of 4.1% each year from $13.2 million in 2021. From 1994, the country's supply of the metal has jumped 42% annually. In 2021, Thailand was the 12th largest exporter of tungsten, with India leading the way at $13.2 million. Germany, the United States, and Japan were the second, third and fourth largest exporters respectively.
