Norway's bauxite imports are predicted to hit 2.9 million metric tons by 2026, up from 2.8 million metric tons in 2021. Since 1995, imports have grown at an average rate of 0.8% year-on-year. In 2021, Norway was the fifth-largest importer, with France in the lead at 2.8 million metric tons. Spain, Ireland and France came in second, third and fourth place, respectively.
