Uganda is forecast to export 1,410 Kilograms of Gypsum by 2026, a 1% decrease from 1,470 Kg in 2021. Since 2012, Ugandan Gypsum exports have dropped by an average of 30% year on year. In 2021, the country ranked 74th in the world, Romania was ahead with 1,470 Kilograms. Thailand, Spain and Iran followed in 2nd, 3rd and 4th place respectively. Uganda is set to import 168,900,000 Kilograms of Gypsum by 2026, a 3.5% increase from 135,480,000 Kilograms in 2021. Since 1999, Ugandan demand for Gypsum has grown on average of 3.8% year on year.
