Maltese Gypsum Import is expected to reach 605,130 kilograms by 2026. The demand for Maltese gypsum has decreased by 13% since 2000. In 2018, the country imported just 24 kilograms, a massive drop of 99.2% from 3,040 kilograms in 2017. Among the top countries, Japan was the leader with 24 kilograms, followed by Thailand, Spain, and Iran. However, the import of Maltese gypsum is set to increase, with a projected growth of 1.5% year on year until 2026. This will bring the total to 605,130 kilograms.
