Portuguese Gypsum demand is projected to grow by 1% annually to reach 65.7 million kilograms by 2026. Since 1993, demand has grown at an average rate of 10% per year. Portuguese Gypsum exports fell by 27% in 2018 to 4.7 million kilograms, down from 6.5 million kilograms in 2017. Since 1993, exports have decreased by an average rate of 44.1% per year. In 2018, Belarus was the largest exporter of gypsum from Portugal, followed by Thailand, Spain and Iran.
