Estonian demand for gypsum is set to reach 31 million kilograms by 2026. This marks an average annual growth of 2.3% since 2021. Since 2000, the country's demand for the mineral has grown by an average of 7.5% each year. Meanwhile, Estonian exports have increased by 6.8% in 2018 compared to the year before. This brought the total to nearly 30,000 kilograms. Since 2002 however, this figure has dropped by 45.7% on average each year. Estonia ranked 68th in 2018, being overtaken by Namibia's 29,410 kilograms. Thailand, Spain and Iran followed in second, third and fourth place respectively.
