Hungary's gypsum import is set to decrease by 3.2% annually between 2021 and 2026, from 6.3 million kilograms to 5.3 million kilograms. This follows an impressive 11.2% year-on-year increase since 1997. Meanwhile, Hungary's gypsum export dropped sharply by 10.4% year-on-year in 2021, to 4.4 million kilograms from 4.9 million kilograms in 2020. This marks a 29.4% decline since 1997. The country ranked 47th in the world, behind Zimbabwe (4.4 million kilograms), Thailand, Spain and Iran.
