Despite this decline, Slovene exports still managed to grow 91.4% since 1999. El Salvador was the country that came ahead in this ranking, while Thailand, Spain and Iran respectively ranked numbers 2, 3 and 4. Slovene gypsum imports saw a huge increase in 2017 compared to 2016. Imports rose from 67,250 kilograms in 2016 to 3,848,400 kilograms in 2017, an increase of 5,620%. This was also 151.3% higher than the 1999 figure. Iraq was the country that came ahead in this ranking, while China, Turkey and India respectively ranked numbers 2, 3 and 4.
