Kuwaiti Gypsum Import is set to reach around 300 million kilograms by 2026. This is an increase of 1.2% year on year since 2021 when it was 270 million kilograms. Since 2005, demand for gypsum in Kuwait has decreased by 3% each year. In 2018, Kuwait exported 251,000 kilograms of gypsum, a staggering 87.6% decrease from 2017 when it was 2.03 million kilograms. Since 2006, supply has dropped by almost 60%. Kuwait was ranked 56th in 2018, overtaken by Jordan. Thailand, Spain and Iran were ranked second, third and fourth respectively.
