Kenya's bicycle imports also increased in 2018, reaching 159,670 units, a 5.6% rise from 151,220 units in 2017. Since 1997, imported bikes have dropped 0.8% year-on-year. Kenya came in 16th in the global import rankings, outpacing Thailand's 159,670 units. The United States, the United Kingdom and Germany claimed the top three spots.
