Uruguay is set to import 186,000 bicycles by 2026, according to a new report. The survey showed that the demand for bicycles in Uruguay grew 6.5% year on year since 2005. Luxembourg topped the list of suppliers in 2018, shipping 266,000 units, followed by Japan, Portugal, and Italy. In 2021, Uruguay's imports were estimated at 170,000 units, but this is expected to rise 1.5% annually, reaching 186,000 by 2026.
