Bicycles are becoming increasingly popular in Brunei, with exports set to grow 3.5% year on year and imports 2.3% year on year. Since 2003, exports of Bruneian bicycles have increased by more than 40%. In 2021, exports are expected to reach around 90,000 units, and are estimated to hit over 260,000 units by 2026. Meanwhile, imports of bicycles into Brunei have been growing steadily since 2002. In 2021, imports are forecasted to reach around 23,000 units, with an estimated total of over 26,000 units by 2026.
