Since 1999, the country's hotel room supply has consistently increased by the same rate each year. In 2023, Belgium ranked 20th globally in terms of available hotel rooms. Finland edged out Belgium with an equal number of bedrooms. Germany, Spain, and France secured the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th positions, respectively. Hotel occupancy levels in Belgium also showed a notable increase. As of October 2021, occupancy rates were close to 64%, up from approximately 61% in September 2021.
