In 2023, the Netherlands ranked 10th in Europe for hotel room supply, with Portugal slightly edging ahead with a similar number of rooms. Germany, Spain, and France secured the top three positions in the ranking, respectively. **Hotel Occupancy Declines in Late 2021** In terms of hotel occupancy, the Netherlands experienced a decline towards the end of 2021. The occupancy rate fell to 45.7% in November 2021, down from 54.2% in October 2021. This was a notable decrease compared to the same period the previous year.
