Luxembourg's hotel room availability is projected to decrease slightly over the next few years. According to recent data, the number of available hotel rooms in the country is expected to drop to around 7,720 by 2028, down from 7,760 in 2023. This represents a modest yearly decline of 0.1%. Since 1995, Luxembourg has seen a steady annual increase in its hotel room supply, averaging 0.7% growth each year. Despite this long-term growth, the country ranked 32nd in 2023 for hotel room availability, with Macedonia leading slightly with the same number of rooms at 7,760. Germany, Spain, and France held the second, third, and fourth spots, respectively, in this ranking. In terms of hotel occupancy, Luxembourg experienced a decline in late 2021. The occupancy level fell to 25.6% in November 2021, down from 27.4% in October 2021. This drop was observed in comparison to the same period the previous year.
